A wise man once said, “You can’t change the wind, but you can learn how to sail.”
Whether you’ve dreamed of exotic cruises in far-off lands or going out for a relaxing day in the sun on your local lake, it all starts when you first step on a sailboat. At SEAS Morris, we believe that sailing is enjoyable for everyone, and we dedicate ourselves to providing hands-on classes for all sailors, from beginners to experienced sailors, and trips for everyone.
SEAS is an all-volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the sport of sailing and the teaching of safe sailing skills, in Budd Lake, NJ. Our mission is to promote and encourage small craft recreational and sport activity by providing low cost learn-to-sail programs. SEAS also encourages relationships among all persons interested in sailing craft and water safety.
We arrange charter vacation cruises, skippered by our experienced members, at numerous premier sailing locations both within the US and abroad. Both weekend and week-long cruises are available. Recent cruises included sailing the Martha’s Vineyard and the New England coast, as well as around the Bahamas, Cuba, Amalfi Italy and Belize. The chapter has qualified skippers and a program to train and qualify members as first mates and skippers.
