Our Fleet

Grandpa's Boat: MacGregor 22

Grandpa's Boat: Our MacGregor 22 (Grandpa's Boat) is a 22-foot swing-keel sailboat has a long history on Budd Lake, and is a joy to sail as the winds pick up later in the day. She is our only lake-based boat with an engine and a cabin, and is perfect for sailors wanting to enjoy a larger boat, or for sailors wanting more experience on keelboats. You can learn to sail on her, join us for a sail, or become a skipper to plan your own day sail.

Hobie 16 Catamaran: SEAS Morris is the only SEAS chapter that can boast having a catamaran! Fast and fun, the Hobie Cat zips across the water even under light wind conditions. Due to space, she is not a permanent resident on the lake as our other boats, but look for her at club special events! If you'd like to know more, please contact the executive board.

O’Day Day Sailer

1.jpg

The Tahiti as she is named is a 17' O'Day Day Sailer. She is a fast boat with good sails, smaller in size than the Newport, but comfortably sits up to six people. She is fast and nimble making her a blast to sail for both beginners and more seasoned sailors. Join us for a sail, or become a skipper and be able to reserve your own day sail.

SEAS Morris has expanded outside of Morris County, NJ, to City Island, NY with our Pearson 303, christened SEAScape. Perfect for day sails, SEAScape offers a fun and stable ride for beginner crew and advanced skippers to enjoy the beautiful sailing in Long Island Sound. First mate and skipper classes are offered on her, and she is a great boat to sail on, whether you aspire to become a cruising skipper or to enjoy a pleasant sail on a larger keelboat. Check out our calendar  https://seas-morris.squarespace.com/moris-seas-calendar]]] to see when she is scheduled for open sails during the season. You must be a SEAS Morris member to join as SEAScape crew or skippers.  https://seas-morris.squarespace.com/joinandsail .
